How long is safe?
I took an 8lb pork shoulder off my BGE at Noon today after a 20hr cook, and wrapped it in foil, and put it in a cooler with some towels, which I read somewhere is a good idea when you want to keep it hot and pull it and serve it later. Planning to serve it about 6PM. How long is it safe to keep it in this manner before eating and refrigerating the leftovers?

As long as the internal temp does not go below 140º for more than 4 hours.
