billex,
Hmm, same dilema here... Friday is usualy "Make your own pizza" night here at the bc household, but I'm not feeling like pizza today. Not even Egge'd...[p]Well, here's an idea for you:
I Egged up some great green curry chicken last night, you may want to give it a whirl. It's easier that it looks, and if you have a wok that can work in your egg, it turns out great![p]I've made this recipe on my outdoor propane cooker before (it gets WAY hotter than my indoor stove), but honestly, it's not as good as when I Egg it! I relly am not quite sure why. It may get just a kiss of smoke form the coals I guess.[p]Any way, I get the dome up around 650+, and toss my carbon steel wok on the grate to heat up for a bit, and start sizzling.[p]Check the link for the basic idea behind this green curry. Of course you should play with it and personalized it. We add some heavily toasted cocoanut on the dish right before serving the curry over noodles or rice.[p]Of course a ribeye or two is always good with some taters and a salad...[p]well, good luck on your culinary quest!
