I am still checking for other egg dealer here in San Diego. I am going to visit a few next week. Hopefully can find someone to help you out while you visit. -

Mike -
Caramba Beli!!
-
are you the president of mexico? or are you just staying at a resort?
beautiful hunks of cow! -
That's a volcano, I can tell because I see lava under those huge steaks. Looks like an old fashion steak cook, throw 'em on with the throttle wide open until crispy on the outside.
How's the gasket after that cook? :pinch:
Man, what a view! Beautiful spring flowers must be a sight to behold first thing in the morning. Aaaaaaa,..... I see the brick oven down below. You fire it up, I'll get started with the bread and pizza dough. Beautiful pic's, thanks. :cheer: -
Hey Beli, when may I come visit?

Thanks Mike.......It´s a miracle my gasket has survived
-
Yes.....I know.......wish it was the other way around.......anyway...they say "practice makes perfect"..
-
You know I asked for the normal thick ribeyes...but my butcher suggested what we know as "cowboy ribeyes"....they are the ribeyes with a bit of bone on them......somehow they seemed to cook faster.....and Choco our labrador dog loved the bones.......actually there was a post not long ago of a dog becoming "egg" dependent...myne is going in the same direction......struggles with his normal doggie food now.
-
Remember the song "Killing me softly"....with this song....  .....Mike I must say your quote at the bottom of your posts still makes me laugh every time I see it...., and very true.....
-
No Rick the post was already taken when I arrived  ...........just a humble hard working egger like you....wish I had your profesionalism though........and I could take those sofisticated incredible pics that you delight us with......and taste your food......
-
Actually...the gasket has survived...thank God.......but is on my list of accesories to buy...just in case.... when I go to San Diego next weekend on our way to Disney.............after the volcano we served mint ice cream.....which served its pourpose to extinguish...that Dante´s like inferno   Send some pics of your pizza ok. All the best.
-
That would be an honour señor, can you immagine having THE ORIGINAL TRex staying at home.....gosh....enough to throw daily eggparties ´till we don´t find any livestock in the vecinity.......will make sure the tequila does not run out though.....
-
Thanks Ross. Tell you what,........your Hot Tub technique was invaluable last night since those thick rib eyes were taking ages to defrost........and didn´t want to make our jetlagged visitors wait too long......I put them in their plastic bags and in they went into the 100° water... probably that´s why they took less time to cook, great idea.
-
Any time Frank. All the best.
-
As always Beli your cooks and pics are things dreams are made of.
Great Job
Pat -
Thank you Pat most of it learnt here.....with all your good advise...
-
Hard to tell which one you're more proud of. Your beautiful home or those lucious steaks. Everything looks wonderful.
Tried to Google Monterrey but all it showed was the city. Not much of the countryside. -
This is my place just 15 min from Monterrey, try it & let me know how you go...
