steaks on the coals???

Late one night I read where some of you put your steaks directly on the coals for "pittsburgh style" steaks. I can't find it now, please give suggestions.[p]Thanks,

I just tried them that way last week. I got the coals red hot and blazing, and just tossed the steaks on the lump. 2 minutes per side, then onto the grill for the appropriate dwell time. They were good, but I don't know if they were worth the fishing around in the bowels of hell...
