had a linguica pizza with peppers and onions today myself. wicked cheesy (the old hooters on 28) not to bad. it goes great on a pizza, i think it was called a fallriver. going to try the beantown next, hotdog beans and bbq sauce pizza.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

almost made pizza with it last night, but i sent the wife to sweat it out at the town meetin for four hours. hahaha
was the pizza greasy? did they par cook the linguica? how'd they do it, sliced like 'roni?
My wife's father used to love going to the Hooters. He made a big show of "oh jeeze, THAT place? ok, i guess i'll go". but he not so secretly loved the chicks there... hahahahaed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
Drinking beer early in the day, you are my hero.

ive just sliced thin and tossed it on. i think this one was chourico because you can see a big hunk of fat in the piece up front and center. the linguica i get is finer ground. yes its greesey, not to bad with linguica over chourico, but still on the greasey side.

No pic. :( Fishlessmans pizza looked good though. What are taxes?
That little 1 game losing streak the Pats are enjoying. Well, don't plan on getting back on the winning track soon. The Powerful Chiefs visit Sept 7 for the opener. :woohoo:

you must be in "wide view". wide view, which gives you the widest possible viewing area, for some reason does not display wide photographs.... hmmmm.
those pats. still not over that debacle. what a fest. still, the giants did to the pats what the pats did to the rams. if bill b didn't see that as a possibility, then i don't understand how he's won all these other games...
too soon to talk about football, man! i'm still hurtin!ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -
Bought some of the linguica at the butcher shop the other day. # 1 pls. spell it phonetic (spelling ? ). #2 how else do you cook it. Sure looks good on the bun. #3 whats in it ? Thanks Miles
-
#1) it's pronounced "ling-gwee-sah". and it's a pork (shoudler, i believe) sausage. garlic, paprika, maybe onion. chorizo (cho-REEZ-oh) is almost the same thing, but bigger chunks of fat and meat, i think it's often smoked, and it's most often hot (spicy).
#2) i just usually slit it in half and grill cut side down, then finish it cut side up (so i lose minimal fat!). I toast a bun, and eat it plain or with mustard/kraut. that's ME though. linguica is often sliced and pan fried for brekkies. simmered in beer, etc. or use it like you would sausage.
#3) it's (both L. and chorizo) essentially pork, pork fat, paprika, garlic, onion. chorizo is usually hot (around here, anyway) and i think the linguica is fresh whereas the chorizo is cured.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -

there were more qualifying statements in my response ('maybe', 'i think', possibly', 'dunno') that i don't really think it can be said that i answered anything!
