To The Fine Person That Can Help Me.......

I was a member of the "old" forum.....Couldn't log into the new forum with my old information....So I created a new identity....using a new e-mail address....and the "new" forum allowed me to log in and participate as a member....but only three or four times.....And then it wouldn't allow me to.........So....I'm on the outside looking in....and it pretty much sucks....

And the bad thing is that I chided some members that were wining about the new forum and told people "to give it time"......Well...here I am a few months since the change....and I'm still on the outside looking in.....and it pretty much sucks.....

I want the suckage to stop....Can somebody help me???

You original profile has never been confirmed. I just tried to send out a confirmation email to that email address. It is an AOL address which, early on, we had problems getting our emails to, but lately I think they are getting through fine. You may need to check your SPAM folder.

Your new profile is confirmed; so, I'm not sure why you would have trouble logging in with that profile. Note that the user name you chose is *not* "eddiemac66" for that profile; so, you could be using the wrong user name -- I can send you a password reset email if you like to get that one going again.

Note: we do not fully support the AOL browser (they bought Netscape years ago and took over that browser, but they've not really kept up with things very well). It seems to have issues; and, there really is no good reason I'm aware of to use it. IE and FireFox are your best bets; and, Safari works for almost everything as well (we are still working on a couple of minor issues with Safari though).

as wmk said, aol is no good, once you get the log in settled out use IE. with aol, most of the features will not work on my end. i use aol anyways and just type my password in with each post, i dont log in unless i need to see a profile or to edit something.
