Changing text size and font, changing password too

The buttons for changing the font and the text size do toggle, but Reset doesn't change anything for me. Is there something I'm missing?

Also, where is the User Menu to let me put in my own password? Not on the Home Page I see.

CANCEL the changing font and size question!!!! I just discovered Reset cancels the changes I put in. The price we pay for not being able to see the posts when we're making the changes! Sorry.

I still want to change my password. Please!

    Judy Mayberry,

You can change your password by editing your main user profile. You can do this from the home page (click "Home" in the top left corner of this screen). From there, assuming you are logged in with your existing password, you can select "User Menu -> Profile -> "Edit my profile". On that screen, simply type in your new password, and again to confirm it, and save your changes.

WMK: I can get to the Welcome to the New Site profile page, but don't know how to enter a "handle." I used a few varieties of my User ID, but get this message: "Your account is active, but not yet confirmed. Check your email for further instructions."

I don't really know what my User ID is, because it appears as JudyMayberry in one place, but in the Index as Judy Mayberry (with a space). And what's the difference between User ID and handle?

    Judy Mayberry,

Your username is what you use to log in. It defaults to your handle with "illegal" characters (e.g. spaces, quotes) removed; however, some choose a different name because your handle is known to all.

Your profile is not yet confirmed; so, I just sent a confirmation email to the address in your profile.

    You have mail -- hopefully.
