How long will B-butts last in a cooler ?

Just finished up 2 Butts and my wife wants to wait until our son is home from work to pull the pork. It'll be about a 4-5 hour wait. I've got both of 'em wrapped in foil & towels and sitting in an ice chest - without the ice of course
Will they wait 4+ hours or should I be prepared to pull early and just make him suffer ?
Thanks,
Walter

You'll be OK at 4 hours. Just don't open the cooler to check on them - that lets out the heat.

If you are worried, I'd keep the egg going around 210-225. Then maybe an hour or so before your son is expected pull the butts from the cooler and place back in egg. Butts thightly wrapped in foil. Souldn't hurt the butts. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.
