Morning All:

Having seen many posts recently about Randy's "The Chicken" I decided I needed to do a variation. As neither the wife or I are big on hot sauce, I figured I could do everything, but the sauce at the end.

For the veggies I used fingerling potatoes, sliced carrots, sliced portabello mushrooms, some green pepper, and on one end (for the much better half) some broccoli. These I sprinkled with some Herbs de Provence. I also used six thighs for the chicken. Here it is just after putting it on the Egg.

I did turn the pan around after about an hour and here we are just before taking it off.

All but one of the thighs was at 195+ internal, so I left that one on for a few more minutes while we started chowing down on the rest. Here is a closeup of the chicken, skin was very crispy. All I did with the thighs is put some DP Shakin' the Tree on them.

and the veggies up close.

The veggies were on for a total of about 90 minutes at 350 dome and even though the potato pieces were not very thick, some were still a little crunchy. However, all was very tasty.

Thanks Randy for the recipe (even if I didn't do all of it)!

Have a GREAT day!
