Ribs A Big Winner!

Man, am I king of the world or what? My family and I just polished off 2 racks of the best BB's I've ever had in my life.[p]This was the first time for me using the mustard and JJ's rub. 235-250 indirect over a drip pan of water/vinegar for a little over three hours, then finished off with some (not much) Fat Freddies BBQ Sauce.[p]That, along with my wife's made from scratch mac&cheese and coleslaw, turned an ordinarliy civilized family into a tribe of grunting cave men.[p]Does it get any better?

    Well, I gotta ask; what is J.J.'s rub and where do you get it? Am gonna have to give it a try????

    JJ's Rub was created by the same JJ you see on this forum (I'm pretty sure). It's a combination of many things including paprika, brown sugar, bay leaves and many other dry herbs blended together.[p]I used it tonight on ribs after covering them with cheap yellow mustard, then covering the mustard with the JJs.[p]The result was a really delicious "herby" edge that really made the flavor of the rib meat stand out.[p]I'm sure someone will post a link but in the meantime, I'll go looking and post it if it hasn't been already.[p]You'll love it!
