A company shipped me a box via Fedex. They were sending me something at their request. This was not me ordering something. According to an invoice I just received from Fedex, they were "unable to bill the account for the party indicated on the shipping document or the account number was missing." They continue: "Therefore we are invoicing you for the charges associated with this shipment." SAY WHAT? Nice try Fedex, LMAO! I've never heard of a shipping company billing a recipient when they have difficulty with the shipper. What is pathetic about this is that they have the address of the shipper. Why don't they invoice the shipper? You'd think they have no idea who shipped it and their only recourse is to hope I fall for this? Truly wierd.
I know the shipper, and this is obviously a paper snafu on someone's part, but I am amazed at Fedex!

Sounds like a great opportunity to receive two payments for the same transaction. Probably works well in medium size companies that have little or no sophistication in accounts payable and even less enthusiasm for accuracy in their shipping and receiving department.

Sounds liketypical Fed-Ex to me,the only time I ever had an experience with them that wasn't a total disaster, was when tjv shipped my adjustable rig and spider and that was only because I painted a huge boulder with my address and put it at the end of my driveway.

Now now, lol! That was an EX-Fedex driver. I guess the reason I am surprised is that I have never ever ever had a complaint about Fedex. The Naked Whiz

If I can retire on the contents, I'll email you my fedex account and you can forward the box onto me. I'm happy to cover both fedex charges..... Just willing to help a brother out. Twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.
