Hi all. I am building a covered deck and would like to do my egging on it if possible. What height would you recommend to (1) avoid fire hazards, (2) avoid too much discoloration from smoke on the ceiling, and (3) avoid "trapping" the smoke under the ceiling and forcing everyone inside during cooks.

I went to nakedwhiz's website and looked at the table pics, but it appears not many folks put a roof over their egg. Is this a bad idea?

Thanks in advance for all the great advice!
Georgie
