I would like to cook a 8-9lb butt on my LBGE along with 2-3 racks of baby back ribs... Is this possible? Tips would be appreciated... I have a small as well but the ribs won't fit and I have never cooked a but on a small. THANKS!

yeah. just throw the ribs on when you are about 5 or 6 hours from the butts being done.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante

You may want to put the butt on the grate extender right off the bat if you have one. That way, you can just slide the ribs in underneath when the butt is almost done.

What do you do with the drip pan? or do you not really need it that late in the cook?
