well actually they are in a cooler wrapped in foil and old towels....... it only took 14.5 hours

at least this time i was smart enough to use a drip pan... unlike last time... the total starting weight was 39 pounds it was a tight squeeze but they fit..... although next time i think i will try to find four that weigh the same so my upper grate is more level.... i used my own rub which is not great but i was not able to procure enough DP last time i ordered....

    Tell me...I have a 14, 13 and 11 year-old that are the same way.

We're thawing some pulled pork for tonight, as it so happens. Enjoy, buddy.

...the total starting weight was 39 pounds...
... it only took 14.5 hours

That was quick! Great cook, I'm putting the last pic in my BGE inspiration folder. A fine mess, indeed.

BENTE this must be "butt weekend". I thank half of us are doing butt sometime. We Rode down to the HD dealer in Monroe La. with my partner to get a rear tire put on his bike as they give discount since he bought 2 bikes from them and just got back a little while ago. Tired and pretty cold. That pulled pork from yesterday hit the spot. Couple sandwitches and Frito pie made out of it. I thank it is the best thing that reheats and cn be frozen there is not to mention CHEAP!! I did pulled pork 1 time w/o drip pan. Never again! What a mess! I cover my platsetter w/ foil for all cooks also. By the way: Nice butt! B)
