We used to go to a specialty food store in New Hope Pa called Variete. The owner Greg was a really nice guy and he carried a bunch of unusual not fresh specialty foods. He carried the best dry pasta we ever had called Arte de Pasta from Italy. They make a chefs hat style pasta that is awesome. We have only found it in CA so now we mail order it. The New Hope government got less than business friendly and that a couple of bad floods hurt the towns visitors and after many years in business Greg had to close. He had a going out of business sale and this was one usual item we picked up,.

It is a sheet of seasoning you put the steaks on it for 20 minutes and then pull of the sheet and the seasoning sticks to the meat. It smelled nice and smokey. Here are the steaks on the sheets.

We made some grilled Egged Plant and some leftover potatoe salad. The sheets didn't add alot of flavor but thanks to the thermopen the tenderloins were a perfect medium rare. My wife had the better looking one but mine didn't suck.
