It's cornmeal..wiffie likes how it cooks into the bottom of the crust and adds a lil extra crunch and flavor..I used to use it to keep the homemade dough from sticking. She got used to it and now i gotta use it on all my pies!!.. :P thanks and the pizza is delish...it's in the cookbook here on the forums...look for Eggtucky's Eggcellent BBQ Pizza...

Any time to help out a fellow egger. Still waiting on mine. But I know it will be worth the wait. Your pie looks awesome. Many happy and good cooks with your mates.

Between you and Beanie-Bean ya'll are about to drive me nuts with the small! Every time I start to get ahead something like the computer comes up and puts it off. Glad you like the mates. Sure nice to have two temps to be able to "cook something" instead of just one! :woohoo:

    Eggtucky:

I was going to ask if you used any of those nice looking tomatoes in the sauce and what kind of cheese since it was so yellow. But I read the recipe. I mentioned to my wife that some people were puting BBQ sauce on their pizzas and she wrinkled her nose at me. I'll have to try this one day when she's not home. Looks really good!
