Avitar Not showing up. Any Suggestions?

I've uploaded a couple of different sizes, all within the described size range but still no pix. Any suggestions.

I'm not sure why, but there is no avatar for you on file. What format file are you trying to upload? I believe only .JPG and .GIF are supported. Most are using JPG files it appears from looking through the database.

I used a jpg file. When I log in under my profile, I can see my avatar there, just not when I post?

Ah -- I see the problem. That is not your avatar image.

In order to preserve, as best as possible, the features of the old forum, we've integrated three different systems for the profiles. The "core" system just includes your user name, password and email address. The "extended" system (comprofiler does the extension) includes the rest of the information from the old forum profiles (e.g. cookers, wish list) plus a few "preferences" we've added (like preferred view). And, finally the forum itself has a profile for each user that contains things like your avatar and a few other options that came with the forum.

We have not had time to fully integrate all three systems; so, there are still two different ways to edit your profile depending on what you want to change.

To change your avatar, you have to edit your forum profile, which, at present, can only be reached via the "my profile" link at the top of the forum when you are logged in.
