A Canuck here...

I had been tossing around the idea to get an EGG for the last little while and finally took the plunge. Today I picked up my LBGE today and had it assembled in no time.

For the first cook I decided to keep it simple and went with burgers which I had prepared last night:


And here they are when I first got the one the egg:

I've had my egg for 5 years now, but just recently found this site. Now I check it everyday looking for new ideas. Thanks to all who are here!!! Lets all go get a beer and eat somethin' smoked!

Welcome aboard.

Put more lump in that puppy.....shut the vents when done then re-light it the next time. The instructions that say to only cover the holes in the firebox are misleading. I find it easier to cook and regulate temps with more lump.
