KennyG,[p]LOVE the marble table (or is it Corian/Solid Surface stuff, can't quite tell from the pic). Could you explain the addition to the thermometer? Don't think I've seen that before.

The top is Corian,the themometer is in a 3/4" pvc coupling,i drilled a hole in a fishing cork,inserted it in the coupling then painted the coupling black,i recalibrated the themometer in boiling water and put back on the mini.This helps keep the probe out of the way.
