Oklahoma Eggfest is only one month away!

Just a quick reminder of some upcoming deadlines.

If you have not booked your room at the La Quinta Inn yet, please do so by next Tuesday, March 25. The remaining held rooms are released to another group on that date, so don't miss out. This is the place to stay since it is across the street from the Eggfest. Give them a call at 405-755-7000 and tell them you are with the Oklahoma Eggfest group to get the special rate.

Everything Barbeque still has a few demo eggs available to buy. If you are interested, give them a call at 405-463-3227 for all the details. There are a limited number of demos, so don't wait until the day of the fest if you are interested in obtaining one.

We have ordered two 40' x 30' tents to cover the fest. That should be plenty of room for about 50 groups to cook under. If you wish to bring your own pop-up tent and be outside the main tents, you are more than welcome. We have also ordered several 8' tables.

If you are flying in or coming from out of town and need supplies that will be difficult to bring (like a platesetter on the plane for example) email me and I'm sure we can round up some extras you can borrow.

Also, If you are cooking, golfing, or ordering t-shirts, please print and return your registration form off the website or email me no later than Friday, April 4th. That is the date we have to turn in the final t-shirt order and reserve our tee times at the golf course.

Picked up the Iron Egg Chef 2008 hat and aprons today. Who will follow in the footsteps of MollyShark and Car Wash Mike as the Third Iron Egg Chef? Stay tuned.....
