We`re home from Eggfest

What an awesome time it was. I will get some pics up on the web as soon as possible. We had a very good turn out and got to meet a bunch of people from the forum, some for the first time and some for the second time. We met Friday night and kinda did the meet and greet thing, then it was off to Capt. Billys for an awesome seafood feast. Sat. morning the smoke started to roll, and continued on until around 4 pm...and then we relocated the party back to the hotel and continued until late in the night, cooking on 3 mini`s that made the journey. All I can say was "What a great time" if you get a chance to make it next year you wont be disappointed..Hope everyone makes it home safely..[p]Wess

We just got back ourselves. It was a great time, we enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about the egg![p]The Capt Billys menu consisted of Snow Crab, small crabs and shimp...including hush puppies and corn fritters! Did anyone leave hungry? LOL[p]Some of the food cooked up Saturday included: Pickled Watermelon rinds wrapped in bacon, Shrimp Stuffed Chicken, Chili, Steaks, Squid, Top Round, Beef Tenderloins, Salmon, Quail, Sausages and Peppers, Chicken Mexican Soup w/ corn bread, chicken wings, hamburgers, Jerked Pork (HOT!!!), Pork Loin w/onions, NAAN (Indian Bread), Pizza, Creme Brule', Ribs slow cooked, Ribs fast cooked, Flank Steaks... Did I forget anything? LOL Wow, the food was great and the company even better![p]If we only could have won that Mini-Egg door prize... lol[p]Thanks to all those who worked so hard to put this together.[p]We really enjoyed ourselves![p]Boccie and nikkig

Little Spin did strawberry and blackberry creme brulee. It went quite fast!
