Unauthorized on certain topics ??

Hi all

I have registered and have the password which was assigned to me.

I have been able to post in the new forum and thought all was well.

I am now getting "You are not authorized to view this page" notices.

Not sure what all of the hurdles are.

How do you get to be a full fledged member??

I have enjoyed the BGE and the (then) forum for a nimber of years.

I hope the new forum will work as well.

    i get that using aol, but everything works when veiwing with internet explorer on my end.

    Your registration appears to be active an confirmed. All should indeed be well.

    "You are not authorized to view this page" comes up when the server thinks that you are not logged in. This can happen for several reasons:

    a) you're not logged in:-);
    b) your session has timed out(*);
    c) your browser either rejected (due to security settings) or has deleted the forum session "cookie";
    d) other browser "issues" (e.g. AOL's browser is known to have "issues").

    (*) We've increased the timeout from one hour to one day, but logins are still getting timed out after just an hour. We are still investigating this issue.
