Email and profile issue

I am trying to correct my email in my profile and can not.

It keeps saying my Email is already registered.

Please update the database with ppbenac@celticspiritbbq.com or fix it so I can.

Also I am unable to change the comments in my profile. Just so you know I am using Firefox (I.E doesn't work either) and I don't use AOL.

I did both.

There is another profile, "Celtic Spirit", that had the same email address. That's why you couldn't change it -- no duplicates are allowed. I disabled this profile and changed its email address to something else.

The email address in your active "Celtic Wolf" profile had two ".com" suffixes. I corrected this also; so, you shouldn't need to update it at the moment, but you should be able to now.

I'm not sure about changing the comments. If we're lucky, you can now, but I'm not sure that we'll be that lucky.

I had to make changes to my local prefs.js in firefox to get the changes to work, but I can now edit my profile.

Hmm, that's interesting. Do you care to elaborate in case anyone else encounters similar issues?

Well I would, but it does require changes to a file that is hidden under most circumstances. It has to be edited while Firefox is not running and will be in different locations depending on how people have winders setup.

It is easier to tell people to make profile changes with I.E. :woohoo:
