Been wanting to try a few new deserts. This is Krispy Kreme bread pudding with butter rum sauce. It is a recipe by Bill Nickolson and shows up all over the web.

Going on the egg

Just coming off after an hour (I slighty burned the bottom and would cook maybe 10 min shorter next time)

You would probably need a big cup of strong coffee with it. It is sweet. Too sweet for m.

I LOVE sweet... And a glass of ice cold milk would be my beverage of choice with it.

I cheat. If your in Wally world you can get their glazed donuts, not as good but for baking they do. I use a can of unsweetened apple pie filling and do not use the raisins, yuk, or the fruit cocktail. and go very light on the glaze. very good :) Julie

    Sounds good Richard,
I especially like the way they classify the recipe as a desert or a main dish :)

I would check it at the 45 min mark and 5 min after that. Mine got a tad overcooked on the bottom. Probably would have pulled earlier.

My wife made this one and it was swee-ee-ee-ee-ee-tt!! :pinch:

And it was a bit dry also - but that's just up to your own taste. I like it thick and wet!

Oh lordy that looks amazing. I would have to buy 2 dozen donuts so I could eat 2 dozen while I was using the other 2 dozen in the recipe. ;)
