Started out with almost an inch of rain yesterday, then turned to snow last night. Woke up to about 2 inches of white stuff. It has been a few years since we have had this much snow at one time.

Snow on the egg,

and the backyard and pool.

It must be the same system that dumped 7 inches on us thursday afternoon, the wet heavy stuff. T

I'm in Nashville- got stuck last night.. Should have known better; out w/ friends, saw snow and let my Silverado truck sit too long. I couldn't get it out of the parking lot. Fortunately my wife came in a sepeate car (4wd). Got home fine, in fact rescued a couple of neighbors from ditches.

Picked up truck this am.- all is well.

RTD, we haven't had a decent measurable snow in years. The last several years has seen more liquid winter precip than frozen. Temps in the low 30's today, upper 40's tomorrow, and in the 50's on Monday. Thursday I was out applying fertilizer on some of my lawn maintenance accounts in shirt sleeves, looks like next week I'll be back at it and start my first round of weed control applications. I'm so ready to get back busy, tired of being around the house.
