that Stike may make an appearance at Waldorf? That steak looks incredible, did you cook it whole or split it? -RP

she wanted me to "cut it" in half. um, with a saw maybe? it was bone-in, so only option with a knife was to just hack a chunk off. no way. too beautiful.

so i just seared and roasted it. the first inch or so around the edges is incredibly dense and has a great flavor, so my wife attacked much of that. that is the best part in my opinion.

still have a chunk of it left for lunch.

we had a bottle and a half of white wine before we cooked it, and drank that other bottle of red wine while we ate by the fire. we came upon "celebrity rehab" and started watching it after three bottles of wine. oooops bad form.

waldorf is a possibilty. depends on the workload...
maybe i'll drag flashback bob down for sh!ts and giggles. road trip.

    hahahahahaa

    it may soon be.
i made a mistake, too. my wife put the bottle of wine there when i was taking the pic. then she went in the livingroom. i opened the wine, poured a couple glasses, and brought it out. she said "you opened the wine? i just put it there for the picture."

frikkin wine was 40 bucks, steak was 50. so our thursday night dinner for two was 90 bucks. might need to get another job. or sell the knife

The Van is only used for 'special' weekends. Now if you would like to consider bringing that blond girlfriend of yours I keep hearing about then we could take The Van.

PS I've added a wash down feature to the interior. 10 gallon cold water tank on the roof. Works like a charm.
