Ham Quarters

I smoked a couple of Ham quarters last night for a little practice for the whole ham for Easter. I had never done a ham on the egg befor and these things came out great and no fat at all. Imade up some basting liquid for the last hour or so and cooked indirect with hickory chunks at 250 over a drip pan half full of water and apple juice.

I pulled at 142 internal after about 2 1/4 hours. I attempted a photo but camera battery was dead. I may just do these instead of the whole ham for Easter. They are not as impressive looking as the whole ham but great eating and no waste.
