Submitted Recipes????

WMK, could we get some feedback on what's going on with the recipe submission process? I cannot find a link on the new forum cookbook to even see what recipes have been submitted and several including me have submitted recipes and they seem to have fallen into a black hole somewhere??..any help/feedback would be appreciated.

    There is no "submitted recipes" in the new cookbook. They go immediately into the category where they belong.

    The old site accumulated hundreds of recipes in the "submitted recipes" section until somebody "promoted" them, presumably based upon feedback from those that had prepared them, into the "main" categories. But in practice, this feedback and promotion process didn't happen very often; so, most recipes ended up in "new submissions" for a very long time.

    There is also a search box in the recipes section (it does not currently find recipes by user name though).

    Thanks for the response. Something isn't working right then. I submitted a BBQ Pizza recipe about a week ago and still cannot find it by searching or by manually looking for it..it was supposed to be in the baking category, but I have looked in all categories. I posted a thread a few days ago in the regular forum asking if anyone else had their recipes added to the new cookbook. I got multiple responses back that they had posted and that their recipes were not showing up..so something isn't working right...I posted the recipe using the 'add recipe' link in the new cookbook...I just looked again and it is not there. In the event that you have access to something that we don't it was called 'Eggtucky's Most Eggcellent BBQ Pizza'. Sure wish you could get this feature fixed.

    Over the weekend I found that the email address was incorrect in the recipe section administrative setup which meant that I wasn't getting the notifications that a new recipe had been submitted. I corrected that and published the "pending" recipes. You should be able to find your recipe now.
