Mother Nature vs the Egg kind of off topic
Okay, we were just issued our first thunder-boomer watch of the season. It was accompanied with the usual warnings:[p]* 2 inch hail possible
* thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 m.p.h
* dangerous lightning is possible
* houses landing on witches
* drunken rednecks claiming "a cow flew by my winder"
* etc.[p]This leads me to ask, how duarble is the Egg? Currently mine is in the garage but will soon be a permenant fixture on the deck.[p]I am not too concerned about flying cows and houses but the hail does worry me a little. Any thoughts or suggestions?[p]Matt.

South O, hell I wouldn't worry about hail unless you're worried what the hell will happen to the hail!

South O,[p]I have all four Eggs and bought the first (large) in '98. All but the mini have resided (in Egg Nests) on an open deck year 'round. Wind gusts (up to 70) have not affected them at all. Hail here in NJ is always less than 1/2" diameter and has not been a problem - except with the chef ;-).[p]Spin
