So I've just got a BGE here in the UK and the video is a VHS tape.
Does anyone know how I can get the DVD - is it possible to download an image of it (is this possible with DVD?)
I see the videos link on the BGE site (haven't watched them yet they don't seem to like Opera or my work net connection or something)
Or should I just ignore it, re-read the TNW site and get on with life? (Is the video worth watching)

I have the DVD and it's pretty basic. Learned most of my basic knowledge from TNW and this forum.

James,
Congratulations on getting your egg.
I would think the VHS would be converted to PAL. Most if not all DVD's from over here will be NTSC and possibly locked to Region 1.
If your dealer can not provide a DVD I am sure someone here can send a copy of the NTSC version from over here.
The Naked Whiz is always a great reference study, watch and follow instructions there.
Here is a link from Fred's Music and Barbecue Supply. This link is directly to his 'home' videos where he visually shows different cooks. I watched one were he showed building and establishing the lump. There are more video's he offers and by browsing around you should find the links to his You Tube videos.
