Another perspective on removing the membrane from ribs...

If any of you wonder why I'm not the head chef in a New York 5-star restaurant, well, I think the only thing holding me back is that sometimes I forget things. Like last night when I put the ribs in that big bag of goop. I forgot to remove the membrane from the babybacks. Sigh. Oh well, I figured, we'll just not worry about it. When I cooked the ribs, on two of the racks, the membrane just kinda shrunk up and peeled away and almost fell off on its own. So, I figures that I'll just pull it off before I put the sauce on. Ok, so far so good, but now I have these three pieces of membrane lying on the table (thank goodness for bracing) and I wonders what to do with it. Aw, shucks, they sure look tasty. Yep, I balled one up and popped into the Naked Bottomless Pit and it was mighty good! So, I says to myself, I'll bet the dog will love this! Yep, he sure did. He ate the remaining two! So, if you forget to pull the membrane off, don't worry. Make doggy treats![p]TNW
