Life is good . First the pig candy for the first time then old reliable country ribs. The beer was cold, the ribs were great, life is good. Ribs were indirect at 250 dome for 2 1/2 hrs. Rubbed with Fat Fred's then sauced for the last 30 min. Lord take me now cause it don't git no better. (just kidding Lord, got a bunch more cooking to do )
Pig Candy (posted earlier)
Rubbed ribs at start
Ready to sauce (about the 7 beer mark)
Sauced (9- 10 beers??)
Pulled (ask the wife for beer count :woohoo: :woohoo: )
Mrs. Pool said I really liked them.

It's homemade by a friend of mine. I haven't been able to get him drunk enough to give the recipe but it's the best I've had. He will make it anytime I need some & I've been trying to duplicate for awhile now but haven't nailed it yet. It's molasses based with an assortment of peppers that I havent figured out yet.

Pat, your food looks incredible. How do you cook the country ribs? I always look forward to your (and many others) posts.
Thanks,
Cory
