Hello --
Not to hit the back button after posting, unless you want to double post.
[Took me at least a month to learn that, as many will recall...]

My wheels are spinnin' -- You've given me an idea...
Shouldn't cost too much, and I have access to power...
Oh, yeah! Where's that drawin' board!

Hey man, good luck.I had to have some light on the eggs. The ceiling lights are 4" low voltage cans.Note how they are aimed. When I open the grill,it's like daylight in there.

I use the Petzl Tikka headlamp and love it, no need to mount a light or have to swivel it to get a better look. Where you are looking is where the light shines.
-
It's not a problem with me...cuz my head is usually where the sun don't shine.
:silly: :woohoo:  -
Hey Doug.....I still can not see your barn & fridge...need some ilumination over there

Can you see it now? -
I have four of the lights that Hawkegg posted the link to below, one on each side of my large clamped to my eggmates and one in each of my electrical service trucks we clamp them to a 2x4 in attics when we are working in one area.
They work great no power cords needed.

This is what I use. It's a hard hat with a "Nite Blaster" bolted on. It's bright and comfortable!

I use TWO of these:
It's called a 'Q' lite..is like 14 bux..puts out lotta LED light..low battery usage and has awhole set of sexy clamps to attach with..the lamp rotates and swivels..can be attached like this, on the handle..several different ways..plus it easily slips out of its clamp holder and can be used as a handheld when/if needed... -
That's the one I have too, it's a great lamp. -RP

One drawback to bright AC lights is that you might attract a lot of bugs. I like a crunchy finish on some of my meat but not if it is part grasshopper, moth, cicada, and mosquito. :side:
I would recommend the LED lights for a better solution. They run for a long time on alkaline batteries due to the low power usage. They are pretty bright wherever you shine them but not as luminous in the surrounding area so bugs are much less of an issue. I plan to mount one or two LED spotlights on my new egg table which is currently under construction but for now I am using a simple LED headband lamp which I got on sale for $3.99. Regular price is $5.99 which is still a pretty good deal: click here
