Ribs and seasonings

Hope to do some ribs very soon. I am watching the post about the ribs and seeing what everyone uses for seasonings. What exactly is the Buttermilk Goop? Also I see several use mustard to cover the ribs with. Does the grill burn away the mustard flavor? Thanks for the help :-)[p]-Boccie

Boccie,
the glop is a combo of 1 cup buttermilk and 1 cup mustard also add your favorite rub to this i follow sombody suggestion and use 6 Tablespoons this is the first cook today with the glop as for plain cheap mustard yes it burns off and leaves not mustrad taste the vinegar tenderizes the ribs and the spices add a slight taste i do ribs with mustard everytime i cook them good luck
