Thanks to all who answered, both on the forum and off. I invite all private correspondence from people with advice about spas -- broc4brockway at yahoo dot com

ABOUT SPINAL INJURIES -- For those of you with biggie spinal issues --

Check out a site

They have zero-gravity "recliners." This is like no recliner you've ever used. Maybe you have tried a backyard model for $100+ dollars... Relax the Back has high-end stuff... I have big time problems travelling, using anyone's bed [including those in my house].

I sleep in the Relax-the-Back Zero Gravity chair -- There are multiple reasons why persons with spinal injuries should check out these chairs. When you try one out [and there are several brands], make sure you have one that fits your body size, especially the length of your femur bones.

These things are Joy-Beyond-Measure to those of us who live in 244/7 pain.

Best to All!

Broc I feel for you. I'm asked the question all the time about theraputic values. Answer is always consult with your doctor.Spas can help or hurt depending on your problem.
While I can build, add to existing pool, or remodel anything related in concrete applications I am not a doctor. My brother suffers from what I think you described earlier (being rearended multiple times) with all the problems he has his doc does not recommend a spa as the high heat would loosen the few muscles he has left to hold all in place. Hope everything eventually works out for you. Spas are great but always check with your doctor regarding your specific needs.
    Good Luck Broc

I've had customers that if doctor recommended the insurance will cover most if not all of the cost of a Spa.
    Hope this helps
