The fact that every time the forum page refreshes or updates it goes back to the top of page is really aggravating to me. Is there a way to stop this? I like the new forum a lot but this feature could be tweaked imo.

CNL,
At present the best way to handle this is to use "tabbed browsing" to view messages. This permits the index to remain open, in its own tab, while you view one or more messages.
We will also be looking into adding a "return to index" link, or the like, to each message to permit the same type of navigation that the old forum allowed using the "back" button.
Note also that the back button does in fact work the same way on the new forum as it did on the old one; but you may need a lot more of them to get all the way back to the index since there is no longer any need to back up to view a message (i.e. all of the responses are linked in every message). -
How do you open a topic in a separate tab. I've seen it but I can't remember.
Thanks
