Felt Ring

edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I've noticed that my felt ring is split at the top and the bottom. Do I need to replace it? How did this happen? What is the cost?[p]Thanks,[p]

Mrs. E,[p]I'm not sure what you mean by "split". The felt liner comes in a role. It has to have a beginning and an end! From the factory, the seem (where they come together) is usually in the back of the top and botttom half.[p]Smokey

    Mrs. E,
My BGE is less than a year old and has a gap (about 1/16th inch or less) in both top and bottom felt. The gaps are not in the same place and I have not seen any smoke from them.
