forum suggestion: moderators?

just a suggestion for moderators who have the power to block (or ban?) a poster.
i'm thinking that two or three die-hard trustable types (Naked Whiz comes to mind) could be entrusted with the ability to quickly pouns and do a couple things on behalf of WMK and WPB.
that'd be:
-ability to delete threads or individual posts to a thread; obvious SPAM posts and trolls (again, OBVIOUS trolls)could be nixed fairly quickly
-ability to either suspend posting ability, ban a poster, or restrict their ability to email others; for example, Mr. Jerry Burnam is obviously a fraud. anyone signing up and then immediately sending emails like this is obviously not a real member
-ability to create sticky threads wihich stay at the top of the forum (for announcements, etc.)
beyond that, i dunno. and again, trusted types should be considered. those not given to rash behavior or vindictive responses.

Now that we have logins, we can consider "promoting" some of our members to "moderator" or the like; however, this is by no means certain. We'll look into it once we get everyone settled in our new "home". -
