Drinking and Egging

So based on the below posts, with the exception of Broc, It is almost mandatory to indulge in adult beverages when EGGING. I've got to print this to show Mrs. Pool before anyone replies otherwize. Thanks for the ammo (I mean info) :laugh:

I have never had that problem for 2 reasons, I have never Egged without a drink or two and Mrs. Mega Egga usually has one with me.

Only kidding. Wife developed an allergy to alcoholic beverages about 20 years ago. So that makes me the designated drunk, meant cook. :unsure:

Actually, I believe that having a cool beverage in your left hand, acts as a counter weight to the spatula or thermopen in your right hand. It's all based on Science.

Something about setting around for 2 to 8 hrs. or more sort of mandates good music and a "relaxer" especially with some one who is hopped up as me!lol

I'm guessing this is how I became addicted. I've always loved to play with fire and eating is also one of my pleasures.
When my wife was pregnant (with our first) I gave up drinking (at home) in solidarity. Sometimes I got the Weber kettle out for a quick grill if the weather was nice and made this the exception to the no drinking rule. She seemed to think that was reasonable - after all one couldn't grill and NOT drink.
I used that kettle a lot that year!

I'm not much of a drinker while Egging, mostly because I have three kids still at home. Once they're grown enough, I can't think of a better way to waste the day than smoking a butt, brisket or ribs with a G&T or Jim Beam in-hand.
