With help from the forum I thought I had figured out how to show an avatar, I got my photo reduced to 34 kb, and it seemed to download ok, but then I couldn't find it. I noticed on a previous post that one person couldn't see their own avator on their posts, but other people could. Is that the case here? Can you guys see my avatar? Thanks.

I can't see it. Possibly WMK has to approve it before it shows up.

remember it has to be no larger than 70 x 70 pixels the kb size probably doesn't matter much.

No Maaam, I'm sorry to say I don't see it. I figured I couldn't download mine because it's size stays over the limit. Apparently, not your issue if you're at 34kb.
  • OK, thanks for checking. I'll have to dig around and see if I can figure out how to ensure it's no more than 70x70 pixels. I thought as long as it was under 40 kb it would be ok.

If you open the avatar in photoshop or similar type of program, it will tell you the size both in Pixels and KB.
  • Also, be sure you name the file with only alphanumerics. No spaces, or special characters. It has to be either a .gif; a .jpg or a (I think it's .psf type of file.

If you avatar is not square. Size the longer side at 70 and let the shorter side fall where it will.

    Hope that helps.
