why do some of the posts viewed have just the image tag in them until you hit the reply button then you view the pics under the text box?

Also once you reply and send i have to go to the home forum page to get back in thereby losing my place.

    We've seen a occasional problem where an image causes the server to hang when a post is viewed. We're not yet sure why this happens, but when I've noticed it I've modified the image link to be just the image url. That at least allows the post to be viewed, and the image in two steps. We're looking into why this happens.

    We've customized this forum by adding the "classic" view intended to look as much like the current forum as possible. But, the "normal" forum we started with was not designed for this and there are some "rough edges" still -- e.g. navigation using the "back" button doesn't work as well as with the old format. We will also look into these issues as time permits.
