It was -17 in Nw Iowa , after I started them ,I did run into a little problem my small got to 350 ,so I got out the large set it to 250 ish put ribs on WOW they were good
The small did cool down quite fast I could have used it by the time the large was ready

I do know this the Eggs work in-17 temps very well ,I dont know of a grill that will slow cook like that and put a nice smoke ring on it
