Hello all!! [p]Just wanted to throw this out.....question one is how long have you guys and gals been cooking on your EGGS? I've had my large BGE for 3 years now, and my small for jess that 7 months. Both are great![p]Second, how many of you have done BBQ contests? I am seriously thinking of doing a contest this August here in Vermont, obviously using the EGG. I just am not sure what to expect/rules/categories....bla bla bla...[p]Anyway......thought I'd throw the question out there...had some darn nice chicken on the EGG tonight...pretty strange having to figure temperatue control one night being 50 degrees and no wind, then the next (tonight) 20 and 30 MPH winds......strange winter....[p]Thanks for any advice!!

    There are competitors that cook on ceramic cookers, the only drawback I can see would be moving the cookers around.
    If you can come up a good method for doing that job, there would be no reason not to compete on one or more. There are no rules that would prevent you from cooking on one.
