Handle vs. User Name?

There is a difference? I have been requesting a new password with my handle with no results.

Your handle is what appears as who posted any certain message.

Your username is the name you use to log in to the site. In most instances I would think they are the same, but you may have changed yours login at one point.

Yes, you did change your username to be different from your handle. This is small security feature that avoids displaying your login information to the public.
