Sorry, My-Fellow-Eggers, but I have no digital camera.

Nearly a year ago, I roasted my first Tri-Tip, which had but the slightest bit of pink inside it. My wife refused to partake, commenting that she hated "raw" meat.

From month-to-month, I've dropped the "pull" temp just a smidgeon.

Yesterday, I pulled and foiled @130F. After resting for 30 minutes, I sliced-'n-served. She ate right from the center cuts and commented that it was the best one I'd done!

Oh, yeah -- we'll get her down to tatare, yet!

This is hilarious because I did the same thing to my wife.

She was insistent on a medium well filet, which I think should be a felony. Over time I have since dropped the pull temp of her filet to 132 and she raves about them most of the time.

I still can't get her to eat prime rib where it should be, and a flat iron can't be pink in the middle, but she is still a work in progress.

LOL it works both ways you guys! When hubby and I first married almost 30 years ago it was well done hard and dry or he wouldn't eat it! now he likes rare and nice and pink/red. I Did the same thing. but the best one was his shorts! LOL he wore cut offs down to his knees. (don't know why I even dated him!) so every time I washed them I trimmed those things a little, the leg's tanned and he never even noticed! LOL Julie
  • Sorry, but medium well or well is far more serious than a felony. It calls for extraoardinary rendition and waterboarding....

Thats funny. My wife tried to convert me to the fake mayonaise by refilling the real jar with the lite. When she thought it worked I showed her the jar I kept in the beer fridge. She never wondered why it would last so long.
