Temp control on Small BGE

Ahh...good to know that the temperature control works much the same on the Smallie as it does with the bigger ones.
The maiden cook for Smallie consisted of some fatties. They're still cooking away, too. I think that I'll be sticking the Polder in one of them shortly to make sure that they don't turn into some meteorites.
Gotta get that table, because stooping down to check on the food in the Small BGE is not really much fun.
Pics to follow after the sausages are done.

I just used my small for the first time on Saturday, it looks so small beside my XL. I did some pork chops and baked potatoes. As well, glad everything is the same (other that it sure didn't take much lump to fill compared to the XL, and almost threw it over backwards as the lid is so light to lift). I think I am going to love it though for the times I just do a small cook.

Agreed. I will really enjoy using the SBGE for the smaller cooks. Like you, I almost tipped the thing over because it was so light, and the center of gravity seems to be higher on that cooker compared to my LBGE. I've asked some of the guys at work who does some plasma cutting work in town, because I'm looking to park the small one in a stainless steel work table as outlined by Pork Butt Mike. The cost of the table at Sam's is just a few dollars more than the cost of nest, and you get the added bonus of a workspace plus some storage space as well.
It sure is nice to have another egg to do some different dishes while the other egg is chugging away.
