just had a piece of pineapple upside down cake that i cooked on the egg. i have to say that it was fantastic. sorry i dont have pictures but it was a piece of art. i cooked it in a cast iron fry pan. this is how i did it. 1 stick butter melted in bottom of pan then spinkle 1 cup brown sugar over butter then add pineapple slices over brown sugar then i added cherries in the middle of pineapple. then put duncan hines pineapple cake mix on top of that. cooked at 350-375 for about a hour. set up was plate setter legs up grate then ceramic pizza stone on grate pan on stone. when cool take a dinner plate place over cake then flip over cake should on plate with pineapple on top.

    Pineapple upside down cake is delicious on the Egg. Here is one we did a couple of years ago.

    Right after putting on the Egg:


    And right after coming off!

    Just had one yesterday for my birthday. For a real treat use dark brown sugar. They are just so good in cast iron.

    Now I gotta admit, I had never considered a cake on the egg. Now I have to think of all the possibilities. Thanks for sharing. :woohoo:
