BBQ Chicken Pizza

Dinner tonight is BBQ chicken pizza. [p]Got the boneless chicken breasts on the BGE now for a quick cook at 350. No rub, just sprinkled with Tony C's.[p]Using Pillsbury Pizza dough. I'll chop 2 or 3 chicken breasts and mix with one cup of BBQ sauce (Stubb's). spread this over the dough. Sprinkle with one cup shreaded cheese. Add about 1/4 cup each of chopped red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and onion. Top with another cup of shreaded cheese. (May even add a few slices of jalapeno pepper if no one is looking!)[p]I'll get the BGE to a steady 425, then 'bake' for 20 minutes. [p]Serve with a green salad, and Budweiser!

elFloyd,
Nice!! For those not able to see the picture, cut and paste this url[p]http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/cb5ad3c3/bc/My+Photos/BBQ+Chicken+Pizza.jpg?bcbtI08AqOqonJ73[p]That is really nice looking, I was wondering why you were cooking it at 450 deg but I see you have just a pizza stone. Interesting, how long at 450deg?[p]Tim

Tim M,[p]You can't see it, but I'm using a cast iron skillet under the pizza stone to make this indirect. But the reason for the low temperature is because I'm using a Pampered Chief stone. Months ago there was a discussion on the BGE forum about brands of pizza stones. The common thought was that the PC stone would not hold up to higher temps. So, I keep the egg 425 - 450. If the egg is happy with 425, 20 minutes is good. It takes 18 minutes at 450.
