how to remove condensation from thermometer

does anyone know how I can get the condensation out of my thermometer?

    I just did that to mine the other day. First I calibrated it then I warmed my oven up to 250 and places the thermometer in it for awhile till the condensation was gone. mine took about 20 minutes. I used it later that day and all went well. Good luck.

    ulika,[p]Time. [p]Moisture gets in - it will evaporate over time.[p]If it really bothers you then you can take a very small drill bit and drill a small hole in the bottom of the face - at the 6:00 position - but it really doesn't hurt anything to have the moisture in there.

    I don't know if this will work, but I read somewhere to put a cel phone in rice if it has fallen into water. Can't hurt to try.
