Pork Tenderloin wrapped in bacon - Recipe?
Peggy
Posts: 122
Hi. Awhile back, I saw a post from someone who cooked a pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon. A picture came with it and it looked realy yummy. I tried the archives, but they do not seem to work properly. Does any one have the recipe? Thanks.

Bob,
Thanks Bob, but this is not the one I'm thinking of. This was for a tenderloin versus a loin as in Mr. Toad's recipe. I do plan on cooking the link you sent me. I saw the great pics of that too.

Peggy,
I believe the recipe and pics you are looking for are on the other ceramic forum courtesy of King of Coals.

Peggy,[p]Take a look at Sprinters post, this a pretty generic recipe. I like to do it direct at 350º on the small and just keep flipping it until the bacon starts crisping up. Then I close down the vents and let it dwell until the internal temp is 140º. I use a simple dusting of black pepper before wrapping in bacon.[p]HTH,
Ashley

Peggy, This is what I saw. I don't see the recipe, but I see the pictures. Maybe e-mail and get a recipe response.

Peggy,[p]I've been doing a maple bacon pork tenderloin that I adapted from a Good Housekeeping recipe.[p]I Salt and pepper the tendloin then wrap in bacon, securing with toothpicks. I cook the tenderloin to an internal temp of 175 on an indirect setup with a 350 dome temp. When the loin gets up towards 155-160, I start coating it with Real Maple Syrup and flipping it until it's at 175.[p]Hope this helps,
Kevin
